Bug Description

Used version: ubuntu-font-family-0.71.2.zip

- Install all ttf in Windows XP (place them in %windowsdir%/fonts)
- changed registry:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes]
"MS Shell Dlg 2"="Ubuntu"
"MS Shell Dlg"="Ubuntu"

- reboot
- check the password field in the login screen, characters typed in it should display dots and not empty squares. The empty square probably means that it can't find the dot character.

NB According to this thread, the unicode character used is 25CF, but I can't confirm that: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/vcgeneral/thread/50f62b51-ec9b-4d46-90bc-270e354732f5

Also, the login window in Internet Explorer uses the same character. It's the window that's shown for instance when surfing to a password protected url. See the attached screenshot.

Summary: the empty square shouldn't be there, but should display a dot.
