Bug Description

Rendered in 22pt Bold

Sample Glyphs:

Portal

Description:

Medium: screen

App: FF 3.6.12 on Kubuntu Lucid; problems are especially noticeable in how <h1> elements are rendered when the regular browser font size is 14 pt.

On http://fonttest.design.canonical.com/, this can be replicated using sizes 20–22 and the bold font.

UA String:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101027 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6.12

Could you please provide a screenshot that shows the rendering on your exact system.

I already submitted a screenshot, see https://bugs.launchpad.net/lp-bug-form/+bug/682303

(Apparently, submitting bugs through http://fonttest.design.canonical.com/ is broken, at least for me. I tried to submit this report there several times, only to get an error message. I finally re-submitted the same report — and the same screenshot — directly through launchpad, and this time, both the text and the screenshot went through. Sorry about the duplicates, I'll file a bug report about the fonttest.design.canonical.com issue.)
