Bug Description

Rendered in 9pt Regular

Sample Glyphs: th

This is a regression since the beta, which didn't have this problem. The lowercase t has too much whitespace after it at 9 and 10 pt in full hinting mode.

Bug 640704 probably should be fixed at the same time as this bug.

Thanks sikon; from your IRC follow-up I understand that this is affecting _any_ character following a 't'; eg. 'th', 'ta', or 't*' and that 1 extra pixel of width space is being left in the manually hinted outline; something that was not present in the the either betas.

summary: - Too wide gap after lowercase t at 9, 10 pt full hinting
+ Hinting: 1 pixel spacing at 9-10 pt full hinted (regression vs. beta)
Changed in ubuntu-font-family:
importance: Undecided → Low
milestone: none → 1.00
status: New → Triaged
