Bug Description

With the latest version of these fonts installed I am unable to choose Ubuntu Light for Desktop. It chooses Thin.

Other font weights can be used correctly.

Rather than a bunch of screenshots to illustrate - screencast attached

Is the font selectable anywhere else? For example, gEdit, or LibreOffice?

If so, what is that "Appearance" utility you are using?

Running Xubuntu here.

The appearance utility is xfce4-appearance-settings.

Don't appear to be able to set font to anything but Ubuntu in LO writer.

Using mousepad - set font to Light - get Thin

Installed gedit to check - set font to Light - get Thin

-----------------------
Updated my ubuntu daily for today's build.

Run Ubuntu daily in a vm

In gedit - set font to Light - get Thin

In LO Writer can set AND get Light

appears to be fixed by revert back to previous version - as in bug 1520772
