Matt, your suggestion sounds good but unfortunately I have (perfectly reasonably IMO) consumed all of the space after EFI, Windows, and /boot with a LUKS LVM partition, so that's only where I can put new volumes. I think the autoinstall.yaml one-shot is what I need.
