That said, the fix for this bug is not simple. It will involve reading the /etc/timezone file which in turn requires a c++ qml plugin. I have already coded the plugin but not sure how to integrate it into the clock app since click packages do not support additional c++ qml plugins. On talking to michael hall, he asked me to prioritise the alarm page first. So until then this is on the backburner unless someone can pick it up.
