I tested the current daily Ubuntu Desktop Groovy iso file with the Lenovo V130. The results match those of comments #155-156.

After that I made persistent live drives with mkusb (using usb-pack-efi), and they worked as before. So I can confirm the results by Leó Kolbeinsson (leok).
