I can confirm that the current daily iso files make cloned USB drives that

- boot in BIOS mode
- fail to boot UEFI mode (not even recognized as a bootable drive).

I tested the current daily Ubuntu iso file dated Sep 15 08:54

in BIOS mode and UEFI mode without secure boot

- in a Dell Precision M4800 with a 4th generation Intel Core i7-4810MQ CPU
- in a Dell Optiplex 7050 with a 6th generation Intel Core i7-6700 CPU

Need I say, that it fails to boot the Lenovo V130 in secure boot? Linpus Lite is not even there in the menu.

I think that you should make Dells with generation 4+ Intel i7 (like my Precision M4800 and the Optiplex 7050) boot also in UEFI mode. It is way too early to abandon such computers. We must realize that some people want UEFI and even secure boot, I think particularly those who dual boot with Windows.
