Actually, the day view seems to imitate the week view. So, it is always snapped to a week. If you scroll across a little, it snaps to the next week, selecting the Sunday.

The day view should:
  - Centre the current day.
  - Never snap to a week.
  - Not change selection when scrolling through ribbon.
