I think seeing as the updated version contains security related fixes (see here: http://www.webmin.com/changes.html), then perhaps TKL devs need to seriously consider packaging the latest version.

A workaround maybe to set apt to ignore updates to Webmin, although I'm not so sure it still won't break the internal upgrade (I don't know enough about pinning).

I guess another workaround for users would be to include the Webmin repo in their sources.list? Although I think the only package available via their repo is webmin-all (which includes all modules, whereas TKL repo includes individual modules which can be installed/removed one-by-one).

Personally I just don't use apt-get upgrade, I have had problems introduced before and I figure as a general view, if its not broken, don't fix it! I just leave the TKL auto security updates enabled and only upgrade packages if I need/want too. In this case, Webmin 1.5 doesn't get overwritten.
