You can switch in tsclient between Full Screen and Window mode by pressing Ctrl + Alt + [Enter]. At least you can in ver 0.150. I use it all the time, so I can switch between Terminal Server sessions.

You can also switch in VirtualBox between Full Screen and Window mode by pressing what they call the host key (default is the right Ctrl key) + F. I'm using ver 3.0.6 r52128. If that combination doesn't work, you will need to look in your VirtualBox preferences for the key that is defined as the "Host Key".

With all of that said, I too would like the to use Ctrl + Alt + [ARROW] to view another desktop while a tsclient session is full screen. I've tried checking "Enable window manager's key bindings" in the "Performance" tab, that seems to allow you to switch desktops (the visual indicator that the desktop switched displays), but the full screen session goes with you. Also, after a few switches the indicator no longer appears.

I hope that you find this helpful.
