This is not a timeout issue. The problem is in the pingtest, where you can see

    + ping -c 1 10.0.0.103
    PING 10.0.0.103 (10.0.0.103) 56(84) bytes of data.
    From 10.0.0.1 icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable

This suggests some intermittent HA related networking error.
