NVidia thinks that hue values range between 0 and 360, with 0 being the default.
All other programs think that hue is a value between -180 and 180, again with 0 as the default.
Now, if hue is set to the center of a GUI slider bar (as mplayer shows), the center (or average) of [0 to 360] is 180. The center of [-180 to 180] is 0.
Seems like someone needs to standardize hue values and shift their range 180 degrees!
Is there a fix for this yet?
Maybe the fix is to uninstall gstreamer or gxine.
