first at all desktop manager instaled by default is gdm by dependency and in Oneiric the default manager is Lightdm an all configuration are making in gdm an not in lightdm...

second lightdm has change a lot about gdm...

third i tested total blocking of the user and i can login after that i unblock to permit all access to the user but i always obtain invalid password...
