When you put it that way, it's hard to argue.
Here's a respin of the patch without the controversial header un-hiding. My hacky test method still applies (change ReplyAll to ReplyToList in the JavaScript frontend); it'll be a bit more annoying to write an extension for a proper UI, but I'll just have to deal with that later. At worst I can depend on Mnenhy or Engimail. An official UI could just add List-Post to the list of allowed headers.
