I think the forums would be a better place for all of this discussion. I think it's inappropriate to have so many comments anyway, especially when they start becoming like a flame war (and repetitive). Maybe we should coin a new term, something like 'bugfight', to describe such a long, disagreeable and bad tempered commentary on a single issue.
