Are you not overcomplicating this a bit :)

Why not

1. Reply to "Reply-To"
2. Reply to Sender
3. Reply to List
4. Reply to All

And:

If the message is from message-list then default is 3.
Otherwise the default is 1.

I assume here that the Reply-To is from header "Reply-To", and Sender is from header "From".
Anyway we could omit option 2. and if someone really wants to send to this addres then he could do it manually.

In my opinion things like "sticky" can cause only troubles.
If you really want to add something here, please do it via preferences settings.
