I want to echo comment #102. I don't think relying on a third-party extension is valid for this bug to be considered "fixed". If anything, it should be marked as "wontfix" with a pointer to the extension.

Also, everyone here is talking about Thunderbird, but I want to see this fix for Seamonkey. After all, it is supposed to be a "Core" bug.
