Comment 70 for bug 106737

Please don't fix this. I found the bug this morning, which quickly led me to this report. I haven't been so amused in a long time. This problem has been around since 2001 and it still is a bug! The amount of time and energy to fix the problem would have been a fraction of that used defending why it shouldn't be fixed. Until silly bugs like this are fixed, its hard taking Thunderbird seriously. Thanks for the laugh. I'll check in every now and then to keep track of the latest developments here.
