Comment 65 for bug 106737

I am seeing this - or maybe just something similar - in Thunderbird 3.0b2:

create folder "test"
create subfolder "Aaaa"
rename subfolder to "aaaa"

for a while, two subfolders show up - "Aaaa" and "aaaa".
Shortly thereafter, "Aaaa" disappears - so it looks like the operation worked!
But... a bit later... "aaaa" disappears, too.

So now my subfolder - and everything in it - are unfindable.

If I start TB 2.0.0.21, however, "aaaa" is present.

If I restart TB 3.0b2, "aaaa" is still missing.

This seems like a problem, since, unlike the scenarious described above,
there's apparently no workaround from within TB 3.0b2.
