Bug Description

Installed version 0.91.
First, the background is my wallpaper instead of plain black.
When I use the split the window keyboard commands, the application closes.
When I open a terminal application such as Mutt, the text in some of the areas is not visible.
When I open a Terminator window, I can't see what I am typing.

I did mv my old config to config.bak and it did create a new config file using the new format but it looks very bare.

By going to Preferences and creating a new Profile (new-test), only after switching to the new profile was I able to see the text (the messages in Mutt and what I am typing).

This is the current config file:

[global_config]
[keybindings]
[profiles]
  [[default]]
    use_theme_colors = True
  [[new-test]]
[layouts]
  [[default]]
    [[[child1]]]
      type = Terminal
      parent = window0
      profile = None
    [[[window0]]]
      type = Window
      parent = ""
[plugins]

Found the fix on the ArchLinux forums.

There is a new version of vte (vte 0.24.0-1) that was installed as part of the upgrade.

By downgrading to 0.22.5-1, it works like it did before.

It may be missing some new functionallity but at least it works.

Would like to see this fixed to work with the new vte though.
