Comment 30 for bug 328235

I've committed a fix in rev 1554 for bug #1433810, which seems to significantly improve the behavior when doing alt+<arrow> navigation. I have a feeling that will serve to address some or maybe all the issues in this bug as well, but I'm not certain enough to close it.

Please give current trunk a try, and reply here whether it now works as you expect or, if not, propose a patch that fixes it more properly.
