I just tried it. It seems to fix the case I ran into when reporting the
bug. However, it seems to break another case:

open terminator, split it with:
CTRL+SHIFT+e,CTRL+SHIFT+e,CTRL+SHIFT+e. You get three terminals, using
respectively 1/2, 1/4, 1/4 of the window. When going from left to right,
everything is fine. When going from right to left, the middle terminal
is skipped.

Without the patch, it works fine.
