2. Weird that I never got notified that you had responded in here.
3. I have read and understood your requirements for in comment #9, and I'd be honored if you would consider me as a co-maintainer.

One more thing: Fedora has a deadline of "Mid November" for either
a) removing the dependency on python2, or
b) applying for an exception for packaging in the next version of Fedora (which is why I suddenly became interested in this process again).

Is there a good chance we can release a python2-free version in the next couple of weeks? If not, dmaphy and I can probably sort out an extension. I know a few redhat developers use terminator regularly and wouldn't want it to disappear.
