So I think it's not too far off. Things to do:
+ Add a checkbox to enable/disable custom per theme styling. (Fixes are always applied.)
+ Figure out how to make that damn Ambiance/Radiance scrollbar transparent as desired, leading to...
+ Find a fix for those themes whose scrollbars rely on a solid theme coloured background, like Breeze and High Contrast.
After that I'd be pretty happy to merge it into the main gtk3 branch. I'd expect those using a theme to raise bugs or provide css fixes for any lingering issues, which should be easier now that we're getting a grip on how this house of cards works.
