Bug Description

Hello, the SPECfile provided is a bit out of date and fails to build on CentOS 7 (and most likely Fedora and RHEL). I've updated it and attached a patch.

Thanks for making Terminator! :)

Just wondering, instead of running sed in the %install phase, shouldn't the desktop file itself be fixed straight ahead?

Sure, if it's actually broken. :)

It looks like Ayatana is an Ubuntu thing, so I just assumed that it wasn't breaking in Ubuntu since that seems to be the primary development environment of the maintainers.

Did updates to specfile as per Matt Rose (Fedora package co-maintainer) & Egmont's (vte and Terminator contributor) discussion here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/terminator/+bug/1645470

New specfile is in the head of the gtk3 branch if you want to look and check it out. Your patch is for the out of date 0.98 version, which I'm pretty much dropping support for. Have a look and, if you find any, flag any outstanding problems here. If you do so, remove the duplicate flag too, so it pops back up in the bug tracker. For now I'm going to mark this as a duplicate of 1645470.
