At the moment I'm afraid I don't have the time or motivation to do much work on Terminator. Because of this I need to say a big "thank you" to Egmont for doing the initial work on this. So...

It's appreciated that you picked this up yourself.
So there's two pain points:
1) I'm on Ubuntu 12.04, so my system is too old to run this. I can't even start it.
2) Because Egmont didn't use bzr and make small incremental commits, the patch is a bit of a monster.
So I've applied the conversion and the patch and uploaded it as a new branch - this way people can more easily branch it themselves and test it out. When I get a moment I'll create a 14.04 LTS VM, and try this out, but my daily environment is 12.04 and I'm not planning to change that at present, so this will be (for now) the red-headed step-sibling of the two streams :-) Of course anyone can volunteer to adopt it and begin fixing any outstanding issues.
