Greetings,

I think Plan B sounds good for me as well so far. It's no big act at all to
fork the code and push it to Github - but: the one who does that has an
obligation to maintain the code as well. Thus, I'm also out, my
Python-knowledge at all isn't that perfect. I couldn't do any more than
accepting pull requests and hope those work. :-)

Anyone around with some more knowledge about Python and willing to maintain
the stuff? ;)
