I'm afraid we can't do anything with kernel panic from tempest side .. have you tried to use a different image?

Yes, I see.
This error may occur once every 3 times..And also for Aarch64 we can just use the 0.5.1 image.

hard and soft reboot works on arm and has from the first day we supproted arm.

if its not working in a particalar job that is a bug either in the job config or otherwise
and we should not skip it indefinetly.

in the libvirt dirver starting a vm calls hard reboot internally by the way, so if hard reboot did not work there would be no way to start a vm on arm after it was shut down.
