This doesn't seem happen on all networks (I can't reproduce the bug here). If this bug affects you, please provide the output of these commands, and we might be able to work out what's causing it to fail for you:

host -t SRV _xmpp._tcp.chat.facebook.com

host -v -t SRV _xmpp._tcp.chat.facebook.com
