Ok, thanks, the docs could be clearer about this, and maybe bazaar could
avoid crashing. I'm checking with my hosting
provider whether SFTP is available (probably is, I've just never used it before,
and am having trouble getting a successful "hello world" connection). But
that sounds like the way to go. From an above comment, maybe the
proftpd server has AllowStoreRestart set the wrong way, but I doubt I
could get them to change it.
