Comment 27 for bug 1707898

I notice that gschema.{its,loc} is included in libglib2.0-dev, so simply moving polkit.{its,loc} to libpolkit-gobject-1-dev wouldn't be the only example of xml format descriptions provided by a -dev package.

I attached a policykit patch (Debian) with this change.
