I'm experiencing similar problems where Bluetooth isn't working, but the workaround is not fixing it for me.

I don't know if it matters much, but the BT icon on the bar is grayed out, even when it says Bluetooth: On. (Clicking Preferences shows a window indicating that it's off, as well.)

Curiously, it worked fine after the first reboot after the upgrade, but not since.
