It would seem that PUTing and object with content-type: text/plain ends up saved as text/plain; charset=utf-8 Worse yet, it would seem that content-type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 ends up saved as text/plain; charset=utf-8; charset=utf-8 I haven't confirmed this yet, just reporting what I've been told via IRC.
