I tried several builds today but the refresh-installer option does not change any behavior for me. Even a minimal user-data config like:

  #cloud-config
  autoinstall:
    version: 1
    refresh-installer:
      update:true
      channel: "latest/edge"

Just prompts me to the "broadcast" error.

Can you maybe share your user-data file?
