Bug Description

After selecting partitioning setup and NOT changing the partitions on my zpool drives, the installer tries to do something strange and crashes because it (thankfully) can't find the zpool utility.

There was probably a 20 second delay between hitting Continue and the crash message coming up

FWIW, I can also reproduce this issue on the system when the SATA controllers on the box are *disabled* and the only devices available are the ATEN virtual/BMC ISO device and the USB 3 drive I was planning to use for a boot disk.

Thank for the bug report and attaching the logs.

The error present in the logs is related to not having zfsutils-linux package install, however curtin can handle and ignore this.

This has been fixed already and is a duplicate of this bug:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/subiquity/+bug/1782744

curtin will need to SRU back to Bionic and then subiquity can pull in the fix.

Is this still true even when I don't want the installer touching any ZFS
formatted drives? What does all this mean to ne who just wants to install a
system on a box? Am I waiting for the next point release?
