Bug Description

Trying to upload multiple files from a tv show in 2.0.9.

1) Choose directory
2) Confirm all video-subtitle pair matches
3) Confirm right imdb show name and language (portuguese)
4) Click upload

When upload finishes and I click the "view info" button, I see that everything is broken.

Example: I uploaded the complete season 4 of nip tuck. Here is the result:
http://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtitles/3088595/nip-tuck-pb

This is a 2 file zip, which says I uploaded in 2006 (I've just uploaded, Dec-9-2008), it says it's brazilian Portuguese, etc.

Bare in mind this is uploading, not downloading.

Also, with another batch, I managed to upload the files (http://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtitles/3384149/24-pt), but the resulting zip had the pair video-subtitle all mixed up, contrary to what was put in the program (check attachment)

Hi,

for first: ttp://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtitles/3088595/nip-tuck-pb - you already uploaded this with SubDownloader 1.2.3 at 2006-12-01, so thats why you get this subtitles.

For second (24hour), what exactly is wrong ? Filenames (you put correct filenames into fields in screenshot?)

Technical background: when you are uploading, every file is checked if it already not exists in database. If it exists, it will not upload anything (first case of your report).

Also for TV season uploading is better upload each subtitle for episode separately. Later I will process this multi-series uploads anyway...

Hi, opensubtitles.

Regarding your comments.

1 - This was exactly why I submitted the bug. I didn't upload it in 2006 with 1.2.3. I uploaded yesterday, as commented on my first bug report:
"This is a 2 file zip, which says I uploaded in 2006 (I've just uploaded, Dec-9-2008), it says it's brazilian Portuguese, etc."

I also defined "portuguese" as the language, and the zip said it contained "portuguese-br". It changed a lot of the fields during the upload process from what I had defined in subdownloader

2- In the screenshot, you can see that CD1 has episode 24, CD2 has episode 23, ...CD7-15. I.e, if "CDx" refers to "episode x", then all subtitles are in the wrong place (CD1 should have subtitle 24.S04.E01...., CD2 should have S04E02). When I uploaded it, it was in the correct order (pretty much like what is seen in screenshot-2 for nip tuck).

As for uploading each subtitle separately - well, I might agree that the final result should be 24 separate subtitles in the website, but the user should only need to upload once. It's easier, and if I (as a user) need to repeat the process 24 times for each show season, then I'm probably not going to upload them. It's too cumbersome!
