It may be worthwhile running each test with a random tmp director, e.g.

TMPDIR=/tmp/disk_stress_ng_$(uuidgen) or
TMPDIR=/tmp/disk_stress_ng_$(cat /proc/sys/kernel/random/uuid)

and that way we don't trash previous test instance temp dir data
