Bug Description

after installing latest version for MAC OSX 10.6.8 i was unable to locate the top of the screen frame for stellarium, this stops me from moving it around the screen when not in full screen mode. i entered full screen mode in the hope that on exit it would let me see the top frame but all it does is shrink to its original position. i have tried removing and re installing it but this makes no difference. the close/shrink/expand features are off the top of the screen and you are not able to grab the surrounding frame to move its location

Thanks.

Try use press shift and move window. Also you can edit config.ini and set coordinates for top left corner of window.

Thankyou for a quick reply Alexander.

Holding Shift and using the cursor keys did not enable me to move the frame around, all it did was slow the slew speed of stellarium when free roaming in the main preview window, a nice feature to find out in it's self.

With a little more info i can edit the .ini file myself, would you provide the correct line to edit so i can address the problem?

Thanks.

You need a holding shift and move window via mouse - sorry for my bad description before.

In config.ini you can found this lines:
[video]
screen_x = XXX
screen_y = YYY

This actually also affects V 0.13+ on Windows. resizing the frame will cause the window to jump so it shows the top bar again, but this should be fixed at some time.

It seems this is a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/stellarium/+bug/1471954, which has been fixed recently.
