A simple GUI for adding new satellites has been added as revision 5120 of the trunk branch:

I'm going to upload a test build for Windows to the usual place later today.

The TLE list on the CelesTrak website that contains the last month's launches has been added to the sources list, so you will need to reset the plug-in's settings to get it.
