It is a "control panel". The menu is a menu - similar to what you get if you right-click in some other application. So the bug fix doesn't work.

A work-around is to switch Stellarium to window mode (press F11) and then try Alt+O again. Most people report that this shows the menu.

Funny, this happens on my system too. Apparently at least one of the commands of the menu is handled, but the menu is not displayed.

When the ocular is disabled, try holding down Alt and press O and then T. See if a Telrad sight appears in the center of the screen. :)

At the moment, you can't. In the final version, there will be an option to hide it in the plug-in's configuration window. If I have time, I'll try to make it hide like the other button bars.

I think that it depends on the current oculars' aFOV. The smaller the aFOV, the smaller the circle.
