O.K., rotation has been implemented. The hot keys are not editable via the GUI as I'll wait for the app-wide editing scheme. The default hotkeys (which can be edited in the config file for the plugin) are:
Shift-m : reset rotation
Ctrl-8: decrement rotation angle by 1 degree
Ctrl-9: increment rotation angle by 1 degree
Shift-8: decrement rotation angle by 10 degree
Shift-9: increment rotation angle by 10 degree
