Bug Description

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, Acer Aspire 1714SMi, nVIDIA GeForce FX Go5700 128 Mb.
After the upgrade - no textures in 10.4. Stellarium re-installation doesn't helped.

Could you please attach Stellarium's log file or copy here its contents? It's called "log.txt" in ~/.stellarium/

Actually, I should have started by asking "What do you mean by missing textures?".

If the landscape is not rendered (looks like a "wall" on the screen), please have a look at this bug report:

If it's the same problem, please add a comment here or there, so I can mark this bug as a duplicate.

If it's not the same issue, please attach a screenshot showing the problem.

Yes, it's the same bug.

The work-around is to start Stellarium with the following command in a console:

LC_NUMERIC=C stellarium

Comment #22 in the other bug report contains some instructions for making a simple script file that allows starting Stellarium in this way only with a double click. (Just ignore the square brackets.)
