Hello Victor,

please see FAQ https://answers.launchpad.net/stellarium/+faq/2734 on this.

Situation may improve when some developer gets a HiDPI screen and gets annoyed enough to bother, or a HiDPI user sends a patch.

I had actually thought version 0.14.1 works on HiDPI? Can you test this please? Maybe some config fell apart again, we cannot check this.

Thanks Georg, I will check the provided hint and see if it works on my
Windows Surface Pro. So I checked it with the beta version (as is on the
screengrab), I will try also o.14.1 this evening. Will report back.

All the best,

Victor

I just posted bug #1682600 and came across your post about the issue I'm also experiencing. Version 0.15.0 shows a normal-sized GUI, in version 0.15.2 and 0.15.1.1 the GUI is barely readable. Version 0.90.0.9270 has apparently the same behavior as ver. 0.15.0.
