Currently, if there have any problems during application update, an automatic recovery will be triggered to recover the application to the previous version. That would be useful to debug update issues if have an update option which can skip the automatic recovery.

This launchpad is created to track the enhancement for CLI application-update to add an option --skip-recovery-on-failure in order to skip the automatic recovery when application update fails.
