thanks for the answer.

I belive it's a problem with the database. When I make changes in the tags, a process starts and after a while DigiKam crashes.

I have installed:
sqlite3 --> 3.8.2 2013-12-06 14:53:30
qt --> 4.8.5
distro --> Kubuntu 14.04
