What I’m saying is that when "Create sub-folders" option is ticked, SoundConverter will create sub-folders, whether "Create sub-folders" is greyed-out or not. From your message, I understand that SoundConverter has been designed so that the user can only have it create sub-folders when "Into folder `/path/to/result/folder`" in "Where to put results?" is selected, which is why "Create sub-folders" is greyed out if "Same folder as the input file" is selected. However what I’m saying is that even when greyed-out, if "Create sub-folders" is ticked, it is taken into account by SoundConverter and a sub-folder will be created.
Personally, I think that the "Create sub-folders" option can be useful in both options of "Where to put results ?" parameter, so I think it would be better if "Create sub-folders" was never greyed-out.
