Comment 2 for bug 1608146

I'm having trouble with Elisa (and Dolphin) recognizing tags that I set (using Kid3) on flac files created using SoundConverter, and it may be related to this bug. I'm able to set flac metadata normally on flac files created with other programs (like the flac command or Audacity.)

I have confirmed this appears to be a GStreamer issue, and I've opened an issue with gst-plugins-good here: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gst-plugins-good/-/issues/756

In short, flac files created with gst (and, by extension, SoundConverter) seem to always have an empty SEEKTABLE metadata block (the block is present, but has a length of 0 and contains 0 seek points.) This seems to only happen when the source is a wav file.
