Comment 0 for bug 1529704

It effects soundconverter 2.1.6, this also effects soundconverter 2.0.1 and I believe all versions in between. I am running on linux mint 17.3.

I believe this is due to it being encoded in hard CBR. On an individual file basis I know I can run opusenc --vbr --bitrate x inputfile outputfile to obtain high speeds and vbr encoding with a much better sound quality. On this paticular file as shown in the debug info below using vbr in opusenc takes 34.44 seconds. Soundconverter converting the same file to opus at the same bitrate takes 214.036 seconds.
