Bug Description
I would like to move the 'snap' directory out of my home directory. If I could move it to .snap or .config/snap, or even better it should probably follow the XDG_DATA_HOME directives.
Thanks

I'm also looking for a possibility to move my /home/user/snap directory to something like .snap, to have less clutter.
I think that most applications will use $HOME to write their hidden user-configuration files and folders, so a default .snap would make sense in my opinion. A normal user would not want to navigate the snap folder structure on a regular basis. The home plugin can be used to read and write application- specific user documents.
Move /home/user/snap to /home/user/.snap or add a per-user option in /home/user/.snaprc?
